As we strengthen our relationship with advertisers and go deeper in the conversion funnel, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager with strong expertise in conversion optimization. Job Description and Duties:

  • Lead conversion optimization efforts for the Bankrate.com lead-generation funnels and act as the subject matter expert on the topic
  • Work with developers, designers and analysts to quickly iterate and launch A/B tests
  • Engage deeply with Sales, Design, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering and other teams
  • Identify key growth and retention triggers and implement product features to increase conversion and user LTV
  • Create a robust product roadmap for the leads business based on a thorough understanding of Bankrate's strategy, advertiser needs, market trends and the competitive landscape
  • Design functional specifications and make feature, resource, and timeline tradeoff decisions
  • Drive product requirements, product development, and manage the development process for timely product and program launches
  • Communicate strategy effectively to diverse audience including executive management, internal and external business partners

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in product management for a transactional/e-commerce online product., including 1-3 years of conversion optimization-focused experience
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Optimizely, Google Website Optimizer, Visual Website Optimizer, basic SQL
  • Ability to make smart feature versus time-to-market trade-offs; experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value
  • Proven proactive approach to product management, with strong follow-through, resourcefulness, attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Innovative, creative and analytical thinker who can quickly come up with testable hypotheses and see them through the optimization process
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of resourcefulness, productivity, adaptability, innovation and follow-through. Entrepreneurial/startup experience is a big plus
  • Outstanding intellect, drive, interpersonal and communication skills and an unwavering desire to challenge the status quo
  • Experience working on agile enabled teams
  • Bachelor's in business, marketing, computer science or similar field
