Director of Sales


Position at

The Director of Sales & Customer Care will be responsible for driving lead generation, sales functions and operations for a remote workforce of 100 reps. This individual is responsible for achieving weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets, providing vision for all sales strategies, training, QA and sales management execution. The Director of Sales is also responsible for containing costs, continuing the development of best hiring, and training practices.Mentoring sales managers on all aspects of successful management, including hiring, training, coaching and termination of under performing employees. This position reports to the VP of Sales & Customer Care.

  • Identifying and hiring a team of top notch inside sales representatives
  • Developing and implementing quarterly and/or annual sales plans, policies, and programs for all sales managers
  • Devising and deploying all sales goals and spiffs and objectives to continually align sales’ team performance with company objectives

Integrating and aligning sales strategies with available talent, processes, IT systems, and other areas to increase sales force capability and success

  • Conducting weekly analysis on staffing, dialing, and sales forecasts


  • University degree
  • 10-15 years of direct work experience in a senior management capacity managing and scaling a large inside sales team
  • Contact Center management experience a must—with remote workforce preferred
  • Strong experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and direct a large and growing sales force
  • Demonstrable sense of collaboration, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
  • Experience creating and managing budgets for a large, distributed department
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
  • Experience creating incentives and compensation plans
  • Experience using and reporting in excel

Location & Work Authorization:

  • Must live in the Bay Area and work in the San Mateo headquarters, pass a background check & be eligible to work in US. No visa sponsorship.
