Bankrate.com is hiring an enthusiastic and committed individual, local to the South Florida area, to function as an additional layer of data quality assurance in our Palm Beach Gardens office as a Quality Control Audit Manager.
We seek a candidate that is knowledgeable with regard to the mortgage industry, has excellent writing skills, a professional demeanor, and will be able to create and conduct internal audits of collected banking rate data in a fair and unbiased manner.
Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, documenting work flow, creating training manuals, and creating secondary tests that measure goals, audit accuracy, and compliance of data. Candidate must have an understanding of Federal and State mortgage and banking regulations, understand overall compliance requirements, and be able to identify if company policy and procedures are being adhered to.
In this critical role, you will demonstrate superior communication, writing, and analytical problem solving skills, be exceptionally well organized, detail-oriented, and possesses a familiarity with all banking products and terms used in the industry. You will be expected to participate in review of standards, procedures, tools, and process improvement. A history of dealing with outside clients and being a team player is a must. This position will report directly to the Chief Business Operations Officer.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited, four-year college; liberal arts or business major preferred but not required.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a business development, real estate, bank, mortgage processing or an account management function background required, preferably with an organization that has an active online media or e-commerce presence. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to manage deadlines, work independently and possess strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and ability to comprehensively assess and identify problems and solve is a necessity.
