Process Overview

EIT test execution team acts as a control function by performing independent testing to ensure robust governance and appropriate oversight process is in place. In this function, testers are required to understand test scripts and the underlying business the test is being performed for, execute the test scripts and document the test outcomes.

Additionally, tester should be able to able to identify gaps/defects in the test scripts and recommend changes to strengthen testing. Tester should be able to effectively communicate their findings to stakeholders and ensure audit compliance by supporting results with adequate artifacts. This role may require testers to be part of discussions with business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure testing is effectively executed.

Job Description


The job function is to perform control testing using various data sources to support multiple reviews for different lines of businesses. To provide independent evaluation of compliance with Regulatory-focused policies and procedures. Testing is executed across lines of businesses impacted by key laws/regulations. Individual will be responsible for delivering consistent processes, procedures and oversight supporting testing leaders, FLU, and Control Function partners and strategic planning and operational excellence across Enterprise Independent Testing.

Responsibilities

  • Execute, organize, and prioritize testing in a timely manner ensuring monthly deliverables are achieved while maintaining target accuracy ratios.
  • Enter test results and findings in designated testing database.
  • Adhere to documented SLAs, shift schedules and maintain on-time delivery of services.
  • Adhere to the productivity & accuracy target on cross trained functions.
  • Act as a process SME and ensure to be morale booster for the team.
  • Act as a mentor to fellow teammates in helping them come up the learning curve.

Certifications If Any

Experience Range


4+ years' experience

Foundational skills

  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Good understanding of US Mortgage Life Cycle, Fraud, Claims, Customer Service, Bank Card, Financial Services etc.
  • Knowledge of US Federal regulatory environment.
  • Proficient system knowledge to perform transactional testing within the various businesses.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Good inter-personal skills, positive attitude, team-player
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.
  • Should be open to working in any shift as per business requirements
  • Basic understanding of process documentation & reports

Desired skills:

  • Home Loan mortgage experience
  • Ability to contribute additional value through process/business improvement ideas
  • Audit experience an added advantage.
  • Strong documentation skills
