Full Time Veterinarian- Potential to transition into Medical Director Role!

Exciting new opportunity available! Our busy animal hospital, located in the state of Virginia, is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team! We have a wonderful support staff who make up our team.

We are fully equipped with a digital x-ray center, where we provide digital dental x-rays, as well as digital radiography. We are also equipped with first class anesthetic monitors, pain management, ultrasound, a full in house lab and much more! Our hospital is proud to be accredited by the American Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA evaluates hospitals on more than 900 quality standards and recognizes those that go above and beyond what is required in the areas of patient care, diagnostic disease, continuing education, dentistry, examination facilities, medical records, leadership and emergency/urgent care. We have also earned the Cat Friendly Practice Designation through the American Association of Feline practioners, which means we have a better understanding of feline behavior.

Preferences and Requirements

Our ideal candidate will be highly personable and possess excellent communication skills. Candidates must have diagnostic acumen and good surgical and dental skills. This is a wonderful opportunity for an individual who is looking for long term growth! The selected individual will have the opportunity to develop into a leadership role and have the potential to eventually transition into the Medical Director role.
