Due to the growth of our Healthcare Consulting Practice, we are currently recruiting for a Healthcare Consulting Partner who will help lead the firms' efforts in expanding our health plan presence on the East Coast. This is a tremendous opportunity for an individual to help build out our Practice. We are seeking a candidate with industry knowledge and professional services experience.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing a book of business and servicing clients and be based on the East Coast. You will work with a select group of professionals in an entrepreneurial environment to provide consulting services to include:
  • Large scale technology transformation initiatives
  • Development of management information and reporting solutions
  • Information technology due diligence efforts
  • Payment transformation
  • Customer experience and consumer engagement
  • Risk Optimization

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
  • Develop and grow relationships with payer clients and help build out our East Coast teams
  • Lead consulting teams to accurately assess and identify the client's current challenges and determine the appropriate transformational future state solutions that will lead the client to achieve best practice performance
  • Develop the detailed, quantitative analysis work associated with payers biggest challenges
  • Understand how technology enablement and data analytics is a key transformational solution set for the marketplace and demonstrate knowledge of key technologies and industry leading vendors
  • Develop project plans, establish schedules, and budgets; coordinate resources to ensure successful project implementation


Qualifications

  • MBA or master's degree in healthcare (equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a graduate degree)
  • Fifteen (15+) years of progressive work experience in a professional service firm, including team management and successful build out of Payer clients
  • Experience with data management, business analysis and process design
  • High-level of proficiency concerning data analysis and financial modeling (ability to use Excel and Access based applications)
  • High level of proficiency with Excel and Access based applications and environments (MySQL, SQL, and/or SPSS a plus
  • Experience with implementation of healthcare analytics disciplines, electronic medical records, and technology platforms required
  • Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies as well as proven written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, ability to work in a fast paced, and deadline driven environment across multiple units
  • Ability to lead and supervise others, provide excellent client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
  • Willingness to travel as needed and ability to work non-traditional hours as needed for client engagements
