We are presently seeking to hire a Anti-Terrorism Specialist to support our National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) contract. In this role the Anti-Terrorism Specialist s upport Agency planning against Anti-Terrorism (AT) to include risk management, planning, training and exercise, resource application, and program reviews. Interprets government regulations and applicable codes and advises government management best course of action to ensure compliance. Develops programs, procedures and contingency plans based on a risk approach and proposes solutions that monitor, evaluate and enable resolution to safeguard the workforce, reduce property loss, and support mission continuity. Oversees the development, integration and exercising of AT plans and policy. Prepares and conducts briefings and overviews to educate Agency personnel and submits positions and information papers in response to government requirements.

Additionally the you will provide strategic direction, vision and leadership. Effectively demonstrates expertise in providing solutions and recommendations based on internal and external factors. Monitors plans and exercises assesses plan effectiveness and recommends plan improvements to improve responses to emergencies. Cognizant of national and DNI policies and provides expertise to act as trusted advisor to senior leadership.


Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5-8 years of equivalent experience within related field.
  • All-hazards emergency EP, AT planning, Force Protection planning and evaluation, Threat and Vulnerability planning, assessment or mitigation, crisis management, security operations, strategic planning and policy, continuity of operations and participation in AT, emergency management or mission assurance exercises.
Preferred Skills and Education

Any of the following are a plus:
  • Certification from FEMA for Incident Command Systems training
  • Security Engineering Course
  • Professional Continuity Planner
  • DOD Security Engineering Course
  • DOD Vulnerability Assessment Course
