Job Description
The selected applicant will apply knowledge of and experience with engineering principles and techniques to develop and evaluate moderately complex technical reports for US Coast Guard (USCG) Command, Control, and Communications, and Computers (C4) and navigation systems. Will create and analyze moderately complex C4 engineering documentation and work with new systems and equipment currently deployed aboard USCG Cutters and as such should have a good understanding of various C4 systems used throughout USCG or US Navy. will be required to attend various coordination and ship integration meetings at USCG headquarters in Washington DC.

This position is at USCG headquarters in Washington DC. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Ability to obtain/maintain the required security clearance
Understanding of communications theory of operation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work well in a team environment and independently
Microsoft Office experience
Ability to be self motivated

Preferred:
USCG Cutter operational / underway experience
USCG Headquarters or field activity experience

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
High school diploma and 8 years of related experience in USCG or US Navy C4 systems
