TSCM Security Specialist
BAE Systems is seeking a skilled TSCM Security Specialist who will be responsible for conducting and coordinating Technical Security and Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) activities in support of requirements for a federal government customer. This position provides input on the identification of technical TS/TSCM deficiencies and advises on corrective actions to mitigate them; serves as liaison between the federal government customer and security elements and external customers; and ensures compliance with DCID/6/9, Physical Security Standards for SCIF’s and DoD standards for collateral areas. The TSCM Security Specialist is expected to conduct risk management surveys and make recommendations. This position researches and investigates new or improved industry practices and tradecraft and assists in the identification of new TSCM equipment and technologies, and also provides input to support budget requirements. Finally, the selected Candidate will also provide agency level technical expertise and guidance regarding TEMPEST and prepare cost estimates on proper implementation of TEMPEST countermeasures.
Locations are in Springfield, VA and St. Louis, MO. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education
An active/current Clearance with polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience in related field.
7 – 10 years of experience required.
Experience with analytical problem solving and conducting investigations and operations relating to Counterintelligence, Counter Terrorism and Counter Espionage is required.
Must have successfully completed Interagency Training Center TSCM Fundamentals Course (or equivalent), and a minimum of 7 years’ experience performing TSCM services within a federal government environment.
Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of secure voice/data systems, radio frequency (RF) transmission systems and communication infrastructures; be able to apply the standards listed in ICS 705-1 and DoD 5240.05-M-1; and, have an understanding of TEMPEST requirements and a working knowledge of CNSS TEMPEST Standards.
Credentialed from a recognized CI training school is desired.
Customer service experience desired.
