Training System Operator
Provide operations support for simulation and tactical equipment to include testing, debugging, verification, validation and accreditation. Analyze computer programs and interfaces across labs over distributed testing networks. Scenario generation requirements include AEGIS Simulation, Test and Training System (ASTATS), Next Generation Simulator (NGS), Radar Scene Generator (RSG). Test protocols and network pathways may include standard Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) and Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA), Tactical Data Information Links (TADIL), DIIAC and Joint Mission Environment Test Capability (JMETC), live events (CEC, Link 16) and other networks. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Minimum education and years of related work experience required: High School Diploma/GED and at least 6 years of experience in surface combat systems training systems to include experience working with two or more of the following developmental training systems: Next Generation Simulation (NGS), AEGIS Combat System Training System (ACTS), Battle Force Tactical Training System (BFTT), Wrap Around Simulation (WASP), AEGIS Simulated Test and Training System (ASTATS), E-2D IAB and follow on training systems.
Security clearance requirement: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Selected candidate will receive a contingent offer and start date will be delayed until at least an interim Secret clearance is granted.
Must be willing and able to provide a copy of state issued driver’s license and complete DMV records upon date of hire. If position requires driving of a vehicle 10k lbs and more than 15 passengers, selected candidate must provide proof of completion of Navy Driver Training, in addition to state issued driver’s license and complete DMV records Preferred Skills and Education Highly desired, but not required:
