Job Description
This position is for a 2nd shift Manufacturing Tech on the THAAD Program. Specifically, this position is a parts cleaner, which is the first operation of the THAAD build. All parts on the THAAD program require specific cleaning, thus the need for this important role.

Working from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans utilizing manufacturing test development or diagnostic equipment performs functions such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly. Coordinates with engineers in the set-up and calibration of tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. May assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process and to collect design data or assist in research work .

Required Skills and Education

  • Typically a High School Diploma and 1 year work experience or equivalent experience
  • Comfortable using computers
  • Must be able to read, write, and interpret English
  • Able to work independently
Preferred Skills and Education
Must be able to follow route card instructions .
