In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, you'll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.
Test Products & Support (TP & S) is looking for an experienced Test Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas to develop hardware and test programs for ground-based support equipment products for military fighter aircraft platforms.
The Test Engineer will specify hardware requirements, develop test programs, integrate test programs with hardware, and perform qualification testing.
The Test programs will be developed using commercial test programming tools such as National Instruments TestStand and/or National Instruments LabWindows/CVI.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.
Required Skills and Education
Required Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Required Experience: 2+ years in engineering electrical/electronics hardware development and integration.
Required Tools: National Instruments TestStand and/or LabWindows/CVI.
Preferred Skills and Education
- Experience in performing development work to the assigned budgets and project schedules in an integrated product team environment.
- Applicant must have, or be eligible to, obtain a Security Clearance.
- Communication skills: Interpersonal, cross functional team communication, and documenting test results.
- Microsoft Office Suite software applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experienced in designing automatic test systems-based test solutions of RF hardware designs, or mixed-signal hardware designs.
