Technican - Entry Level

The Technician must be able to understand complex real time Modeling & Simulation (M&S) computer systems and assist in maintaining the operational status of those systems. The Technician applies technical expertise in assisting with the installation, operation, and maintenance of complex computers within a wide range of operating environments and states.

The Technician applies standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques to accomplish assignments.

The System Engineer requires the training, skill and experience necessary to conduct

detailed, complex system engineering activities associated with Enterprise level M&S solutions.

This is to include function and system level requirements analysis, requirements documentation and

distribution, market/trade studies and analysis, and establishing acceptance criteria for M&S

solutions.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Education and years of experience required: High School diploma/GED and at least 6 years of related work experience to include 4 years general combat system experience and 4 years or a specific experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree/Associate’s Degree and at least 4 years general combat system experience and 4 years of specific experience. The System Engineer requires the training, skill and experience necessary to conduct detailed, complex system engineering activities associated with Enterprise level M&S solutions.

This is to include function and system level requirements analysis, requirements documentation and

distribution, market/trade studies and analysis, and establishing acceptance criteria for M&S

solutions.

Security clearance requirement: Active DoD security clearance (must maintain clearance) and access to Combat System Engineering Development Site (CSEDS) as a condition of employment

Also required:

Proven ability to use all Microsoft Office tools as well as have technical writing and editing abilities
