Technical Intern - ICBM

Provide technical, clerical, and low level engineering/scientific support to BAE Systems Air Force Strategic Programs Directorate.

Under direction of full time staff, the successful candidate will:

  • Perform research and report results on control drawings, specifications, and technical manuals
  • Support systems engineering and integration efforts for specialty engineering disciplines, e.g., corrosion, environmental, safety, configuration management, surety, EMI, logistics, and others.
  • Participate in sustainment engineering activities
  • Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Education Required education: High School/GED

Must be an active student in an ABET accredited engineering program, scientific, mathematics, or other technical or scientific based degree. Must be in at least Junior Year of appropriate degree program.

Able to work Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Skills and Education Prior work or academic experience in:

  • Mechanical Modeling
  • Software Engineering
  • Hard Scientific Research using the Scientific Method
  • IT programming
  • Electrical Modeling
  • Test Planning, conduct, and reporting
  • Systems Engineering
