Technical Intern 4

BAE’s Technology Solutions group within Electronic Systems (ES) is looking for candidates who are currently enrolled in a technical science or engineering degree program to join our team for the summer of 2017. This is a temporary position for a high potential student who has finished their junior year of college who is looking for real world work experience on EO/IR systems and technology development.

We have intern positions for talented, up and coming scientists and engineering who want to work at a progressive company where technical excellence is highly valued. Our mission is “We protect those who protect us,” and as an Intern at Electronic Systems, you will develop your skills while helping us protect the brave men and women in our armed forces, intelligence communities and first responders.

This particular position is in the Sensor Technologies portion of Technology Solutions. Our Sensor Technologies team focuses on innovating new materials, laser, sensors and algorithms along with integrating these and other technologies into higher level systems. We focus on integrating leading edge technologies and demonstrating the art of the possible for our customers.

This position will work side-by-side with experienced engineers, scientists and senior engineering staff in various work settings, to include engineering lab environments and our local test range. We are looking for a self starting, motivated student with a desire for hands-on learning. You will also gain experience with documentation of systems level requirements, specifications and analysis.
