Technical Intern 3
BAE’s Electronic Systems (ES) is looking for candidates, students who have completed their junior year of undergraduate studies, to join our systems engineering team starting the summer of 2017. We have intern positions for talented, up and coming electrical engineers who want to work at a progressive company where technical excellence is highly valued. Our mission is “We protect those who protect us,” and as a Systems Intern at Electronic Systems, you will develop your software engineering skills while helping us protect the brave men and women in our armed forces, intelligence communities and first responders.
ES develops high-quality and high performance equipment that is fielded on Electronic Warfare (EW) mission systems that integrate state of the art radar warning, electronic support measures, electronic attack, and electronic protection, to state of the art sensors, displays and lasers that provide superior imaging, targeting, guidance, and survivability capabilities directly to our warfighters. Our systems also provide actionable intelligence for our warfighters through electronic products and innovative technical solutions with our SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) and GEOINT/ISR (Geospatial Intelligence/ Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) group. Electronic Systems’ equipment is deployed in the depth of the ocean to outer space, and everywhere in between, protecting those who protect us.

Interns will work side-by-side with experienced developers and senior engineering staff in various work settings, to include engineering lab environments, with actual EW system assets. Interns will also gain experience with documentation of systems level requirements, specifications and analysis. BAE’s Intern Program offers interns professional development classes and an opportunity to participate in a collaborative group project that is presented to executive leadership. This internship will be at BAE Systems in Wayne, New Jersey.
