Systems Engineer (Senior)

  • This role provides technical expertise and collaboration across an Agile team to ensure system application requirements and user stories are ready for implementation.
  • This role supports software systems development, including documenting system application requirements, system interfaces, and data sources; and, supporting technical planning, development, integration, and verification and validation.
  • This role refines customer roadmaps, enterprise epics, and strategic requirements into detailed requirements and actionable user stories to be delivered by the entire team.
  • This role coordinates with the Scrum Master to prioritize user stories that realize customer requirements.


Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
  • Flexible cross-training to also provide systems engineering, software development, training, security, and testing is also desired.
  • This role is responsible for technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding.
  • Evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.
  • Duties include performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.
Preferred Skills and Education
  • Candidate must have BS and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Position requires on-site performance in the WMA
  • Position requires a clearance with polygraph, must be eligible for crossover, and must meet the intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704, Personnel Security
  • Position requires personnel have U.S. Citizenship
  • Experience with the Intelligence Community preferred
