Systems Engineer (Development) - Sr Principle

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost, risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions. Translates customer requirements into hardware/software specifications.

Provide systems engineering expertise in the development of new systems using familiarity of requirements, electrical and mechanical design processes, EMC, cost savings for development and total life cycle costs, reliability, quality, and other specialty engineering disciplines.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education

Bachelor’s Degree from ABET accredited university program.

12+ years with BS

10+ years with MS

7+ years with PhD

Experience must be with systems engineering for complex military development activities.

Must be capable of working from own body of expertise, and leading teams of other engineering personnel to recommend, assess, and analyze requirements/objectives and the systems engineering discipline to assist in system development.
