BAE Systems is looking for an Director Support IT Lead for a Government Customer in the Springfield Virginia area. This person will oversee a team that is providing dedicated IT support to the Director and Staff. A TS/SCI clearance Polygraph is required. The Director Support Lead will be responsible for the following tasks:

Technical Work Description:

Director Support – O&S – This work consists of immediate-response, dedicated desk-side support to NGA Director Staff for generalized IT functions, plus O&S for the engraver. Tasks include a combination of providing direct, personal IT assistance for all types of IT based tasking as well as coordinating with other services for urgent handling of issues that cannot be directly handled by the dedicated worker. Our staff provides front-line support for the executives, and create, monitor, and close all levels of service desk ticket on their behalf, coordinating IT response, Tier 1-4, to provide an individually-tailored full-service response to each executive. Regular, scheduled preventative maintenance for the engraver is executed, according to the vendor-recommend maintenance guide. We note that this service area is more likely to have newer and non-enterprise standard device types, such as emerging PITD technology and other tools.

Technical skills required are broad: workers must be experienced, and have an understanding of the basic use and application of many different enterprise tools, including Microsoft Windows & Microsoft Office, as well as an ability to handle newer technologies efficiently and relate the use of these technologies to senior personnel.
