System Engineer (ArcSight SME)
Develops computer systems specifications and requirements that address business requirements and that fit with the company’s system architecture standards. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities. Analyzes, enhances, installs, tests and modifies enterprise-wide operating systems for new and/or existing systems. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education The customer is seeking an ArcSight SME to administer, configure and integrate the solution into a large scale transaction software system. We would consider candidates with extensive Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) engineering experience in lieu of ArcSight; however, those candidates will be evaluated on an individual basis. Additionally, the candidate needs solid LINUX system administration skills to support installation along with routine troubleshooting and monitoring.
