Job Description

The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator role is a technical position that requires specific systems expertise. This person will be responsible for the administration of BAE's LMS (ILearn@BAESystems).

Key responsibilities include:

• Internal and external cross-functional collaboration with LMS roles and vendor on operational/customizations/enhancements for the application

• Remediates technical problems by collaboration with vendor technical resource

• Administers Security and table maintenance while ensuring organizational changes are correct. This includes complex analysis and problem solving skills based on project requirements.

• Analyzes and evaluates implementation processes and establishes procedures and scheduling

• Responsible for initial Load, test, and configuration of online activities

• C ontinuously monitors and troubleshoots solutions for content within ILearn@BAESystems

• Monitor and evaluate incoming and outgoing daily data feeds from both internal and external systems

• Create, Maintain and Deliver training to Resource Center, Centers of Expertise (COEs) and sector personnel

• Fulfills audit reporting requests based on complex segmentations.

• Manage data integrity of the ILearn@BAESystems in regards to data creation, management and deletion.

• Assist key stakeholders to create and execute test plan for enhancements

• Consults as subject matter expert with Business and Human Resource Training Leaders to solve their functional requirements with the technical solution.

• Batch load and validate training and object data to the LMS

• Ability to manage multiple service queues (CRM, Remedy, emails)

• Create and manage ad hoc, advanced and Recurring LMS reports

Typical Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience working with Learning Management System
  • Experience working with Information Technology (IT) and external vendors.
  • Knowledge in content creation software such as Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, or others (need to know how to build a course to trouble shoot a course)
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation (system mapping)
  • Process Improvement experience
  • Managing multiple projects/tasks
  • Customer support and training
