Supply Chain Proposal Manager

Job Description
The supply chain proposal manager is responsible for leading and managing the overall proposal development process from pre-proposal phase through post-proposal phase for material estimating.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills;

Proficient with FAR Cost Principles, DFARS regulations pertaining to the purchasing and estimating business systems, and all regulations governing procurements for a defense contractor.

Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness in order to accomplish department goals and objectives.

Ability to manage multiple projects

Ability to gain an understanding of business process in order to drive solutions to challenges.

Willing to work in a team environment, with varying skill levels

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Sharp attention to detail

Highly organized and disciplined in work habits

Research and presentation skills

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Experience with York CAS Proposal Processes.
  • Experience in the Defense Industry
  • MBA
