Supply Chain Program Liaison - Guns

Job Description

Position location is preferred in Minneapolis, MN however will consider Louisville, KY

Serve as Program Liaison between US Weapon Systems Guns Programs and Supply Chain Organization

  • Communicate Program Requirements & Focus Areas to S/C Leadership Team
  • Champion for Areas that Require Additional Focus, Broader Engagement of Business Resources
    • i.e. Program, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing Engr, Planning etc...
  • POC to Communicate with Programs
  • Attend Program Meetings, Status Reviews, Request for Bid Approval's, LCM's, Local Contract Status Reviews & Other Program Beat Mtgs
  • Active Participant on Capture "New Business" Teams
  • Report Key Performance Metrics at Program or Project level Reviews
  • Reviews Flow Down Requirements at the Proposal & Contract/MOD Award Stage
  • Documents & Communicates Requirements to Internal Team Members
  • Ensures Flow Down Requirements appear on Orders
  • Proposal Supply Chain Strategy Lead and/or Co-Lead
    • Creates Standard RFP Package (Letter, Bid Instructions, T&C's, Attachments etc...)
    • Accurately Communicates to S/C Leadership & Functional Mgrs for Action
    • Develops RFP Tracking Spreadsheet Including Due Dates
    • Schedules Interim S/C Status Meetings that Aligns with Proposal Submit Due Date
  • Workload Forecast
    • Review and Understand Periodic Changes to the Material & Subcontracts Workload
    • Attend the Quarterly Workload Forecast Program Meetings
  • Supply Chain Subject Matter Expertise
    • Provide Guidance & Advise based upon Experience, Education, Lessons Learned
    • Knowledge Transfer
Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience

Superior knowledge of the Life Cycle Management, supply chain policy and procedures, and FARs/DFARs
Ability to drive supply chain strategy
Ability to engage and interact with Sr Leadership
Ability to collaborate across functions
Ability to influence individuals with whom you do not have direct supervisory control
Ability to support and drive the proposal process for supply chain
