Supply Chain Commodity Manager Electrical
Candidate will manage the Electrical buying commodity and will be responsible for the timely placement and receipt of requirements. Collaborates with multiple-functional managers to plan and execute the timely placement of orders. Manages and monitors vendor's qualification and performance to ensure they meet company's requirements. Analyzes manufacturing, enterprise resource planning, and other material requirements based on needs of assembly demands, replenishments, substitute parts/materials, production set-ups, engineering changes and enterprise supplies. Resolves schedule, material requirement or business system problems with cross-functional representatives. Approves part or material requisitions and initiates production and purchase orders. Typical Education & Experience
Required Skills and Education
- Bachelors Degree and 8 years of work experience or equivalent experience
- Project management.
Understanding of FAR/DFAR
- Team management experience
- Technical understanding.
- Cost accounting skills.
- Ability to understand financial statements.
- Understanding of e-procurement systems.
- Troubleshooting, problem solving.
