    The Supplier Quality Tech will analyze supplier defect/performance data and translate it into an actionable approach. The SQ Tech will do this by identifying data trends across parts, suppliers, programs and business area etc. and will work to translate analytical data metrics into defect resolution/risk mitigation actions in support of risk mitigation planning. The intent is to support the SQ team to ensure suppliers improve on current products with robust plans and deliver first time quality to BAE program customers. Additionally, this person will be responsible for assisting the supplier quality manager in tracking/driving staff actions, assembling business metric meeting presentation packages, and participating in continuous improvement projects. The SQ Tech will take direction from the manager, and at times from senior SQ engineers. You must be a self-starting problem solver that will utilize your analytical skills to find innovative solutions to quality-related issues and help identify trends. A strong desire and mindset to drive actions and projects to closure without being prompted is a must. Strong communication skills are required. Generate and present work artifacts progress reports. Ability to summarize briefing/findings tailored to specific audiences. Assist in other areas of department or other departments as required.

    This position will be based in Hudson NH and include approximately 10% travel. Travel could be a mix of local, day visits as well as overnight travel, outside the local area.

    Typical Education and Experience * Required Skills
    • Associate's Degree in Engineering or Technical field and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
    • Ability to analyze supplier defect/performance data, identify trends across parts, suppliers, programs and business area etc. and translate the trend metrics into defect resolution/risk mitigation plans/actions.
    • Microsoft Office suite proficiency, with intermediate-to-advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
    • Clear and concise verbal, written and interpersonal skills including ability to work with teams.
    • Ability to work with management to prioritize business and information needs
    • Continuous Improvement mindset and experience

    • Preferred Skills and Education
      • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training / certification / experience
      • Proficiency with Minitab or similar software package
      • Working knowledge of AS9100 or equivalent Quality Management Systems
      • Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
      • Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of Quality Assurance
      • Tech Writing Skills
