Subcontract Admin II

Job Description

Responsible for the continuous improvement of assigned processes and assures application of company approved total quality management techniques, throughout assigned areas. Responsibilities include:

-- Administers high value, complex, and/or critical subcontracts in a manner that insures all Program prerequisites of cost, quality, technical performance and schedule objectives are achieved while ensuring all subcontract actions and file documentation are in strict compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as federal laws and regulations, and that the Company?s contractual interests are protected at all times.

-- Prepares or ensures the preparation by other parties of all pertinent subcontract documents, statement of work (SOW) specifications, terms and conditions are in full accordance with pro-contract requirements.

-- Review and processing of all invoices

-- Administers the change order process for all subcontracts

-- Acts as operational interface between the Subcontracts department and interdepartmental functional groups

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
Experience in purchasing techniques
Knowledge of government procurement regulations and procedures, government and commercial contract law, and accounting
Communicates and works well with team members

Preferred Skills and Education
Baccalaureate Degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline or the equivalent in related
experience and training. Legal experience he lpful
