This BAE Systems program supports our federal customer who plays a key role in providing direct cybersecurity engineering support. This program provides systems and security engineering and integration support to specific Government-sponsored projects, pilots and prototypes. This includes solution planning and engineering, defining security requirements, target architecture, interoperability and integration, system testing, Verification and Validation, Modeling and Simulation, studies and analysis, post-deployment security validation (PDSV), and project risk management .
The Strategic/Capital Planner will lead the development and documentation of Program Strategic Plans, including defining long-term goals, and the approaches by which it will monitor its progress in addressing specific Program needs, and challenges. The plans will need to anticipate changes required in the program's technological capabilities, identify major assets that are critical to implement the plan, and define the outcomes these assets will help realize. Working with the Program Manager and formulate concepts, and develop strategic, tactical, and operational plans for strategic program activities using DHS processes such as the customer's Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) and Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) Guide.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience

Knowledge in strategic planning, Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) and Capital Planning and Investment Control.
Preferred Skills and Education
Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years or equivalent experience.
