Storage Administrator

Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for Storage Administrators for the upcoming ESITE ISEO opportunity to maintain smooth operations of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
This position is open in multiple locations. Work may be performed in Colorado Springs CO, Tampa FL, St Louis MO, Omaha NE, or Washington DC (Bolling AFB)

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
Admin/System knowledge of NetApp 7-Mode and Cluster, EMC Clarion and VNX - Administration of SAN Fabric switches Cisco/Brocade. - Setup Storage Network with various Storages in SAN environment - Configuring zoning policies in SAN environment - Managing storage allocations for Windows and Unix platforms. - Masking of LUNs and Implementing Host groups and Security Policies - Good Knowledge in Storage procedures and documentation

Preferred Skills and Education
Security+, ITIL v3 experience and certification desired; Working knowledge of System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) would be an added advantage.
Good communications skills, both verbal and written required. Candidate must hold a current Security+, or greater, and be enrolled in the Continuing Education (CE) program through CompTIA in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M.
