SSDS Operations Coordinator - CSS Support

Provide support and assist in the planning, coordination, scheduling and conduct of operations in accordance with SCSCINST 3967.1 (series) at SCSC.

Provide technical assistance for event preplanning and execution to include scheduling the correct baseline and supporting equipment and de-confliction of equipment. Prepare documentation including top level test or training plans, operations plans, OPSEC plans, Operational Safety Directives (OSD’s), data collection plans, project support plans, and environmental studies.

Manage data using SCSC enterprise level tools to include insideSCSC (iSCSC), Test Resource Management System (TRMS), Advanced Change Control Engineering & Status System (ACCESS), and Wallops Institutional Information Management System (WIIMS).

Produce daily/weekly/monthly/projected schedules and updates for Government review, identifying mission customer events and potential scheduling conflicts in the sharing of systems, equipment, tactical computer program baselines, unique SCSC assets, maintenance or incompatible use of simulation systems and live tactical combat systems.

Perform site scheduling tasks utilizing TRMS: prepare weekly and monthly schedules; prepare long range (2-3) month schedules; de-conflict common equipment items between various baselines before finalizing the weekly schedule; update TRMS with the latest SCSC baseline information, equipment, and computer programs; and provide recommendations for best practices to effectively schedule SCSC’s facilities.

Produce out-month and out-year forecast information to include an analysis of competing events and technical or resource conflicts that require coordinated planning and resolution with Government approval prior to SCSC schedule commitment.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Required education: High School/GED

10 years of Surface Combat Systems experience in the SSDS Mk1 and Mk2 systems to include: tactical employment in support of Surface, Air, and Strike warfare areas. Of the 10 years, 8 years of management experience with the Surface Combat Systems, including responsibility for managing technical performance, reliability, maintainability, cost, schedule, and delivery requirements.
