Job Description
Systems Engineers with backgrounds in Electronic Warfare, RF Signal, Radar, Radio Frequency or Microwave backgrounds and technical degrees such as Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics or Mathematics. The successful candidates will serve as a Systems Engineer within the Electronic Combat Systems (ECS) product area. This role will include providing SEM/SEL, systems engineering guidance, design, and analysis support to the business area in support of ECS programs focusing on all phases of the life cycle to include requirements development, design, integration and test, as well as transition to production.
Day-to-day responsibilities will be to:
- Perform Systems Engineering Management / Systems Engineering Lead activities
- Perform Cost Account Manager activities such as Earned Value Management System tasks
- Establish and control the system technical baseline
- Translate operational requirements into technical requirements and architectures
- Conduct trade studies
- Support technical exchange meetings for systems design and support functions
- Conduct and support product integration and testing for Radio frequency technology
- Work with program teams during design, production, fielding, and support of ECS programs

Typical Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience or a PHD and 6 years
