Sr. Network Analyst (USMC JPED)

Job Description

BAE Systems is currently seeking full-time Network Analysts to support the U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Enterprise (MCISRE). Located in Quantico, VA, candidates will provide on-site MCISRE network support to various Joint Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (JPED) centers. Based on operational requirements from the customer, candidates must be able to work evenings and/or weekends.

The selected candidate's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide on-site technical support to maintain the JPED Full Motion Video (FMV) capability
  • Provide IT and Audio Visual (AV) / Video Teleconferencing (VTC) support to include, but not limited to: hardware and software troubleshooting, research and selection; system integration; and oversee WAN/LAN troubleshooting
  • Develop and recommend inputs to technical documentation
  • Review and provide technical feedback to engineering change requests and proposal
Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Bachelor of Science degree and 4+ years of related IT and/or AV/VTC systems experience OR High school diploma and 8+ years of relevant IT and/or AV/VTC systems experience
Active security clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI
Demonstrated experience applying engineering principles to NIPR, SIPR, and/or JWICS networks to include, but not limited to: Troubleshoot, investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate IT and/or AV/VTC systems
Demonstrated experience with Cisco and/or Crestron equipment
Developing and updating engineering documentation, such as: test procedures, work instructions, technical directives, bulletins, white papers, reports, and engineering drawing packages
Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations to provide IT and/or AV/VTC support
Self-starter - ability to work with limited supervision
Strong communication and customer service skills - interacting with government and contractor matrix teams

Preferred Skills and Education

Active TS/SCI security clearance
IT and/or AV/VTC certifications: Certified Cisco Networking Associate (CCNA), Crestron Digital Media Certified Technician - 4K (DMC-T-4K), Crestron Digital Media Engineer - 4K (DMC-E-4K), Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
Experience supporting 24/7 network operations in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
Prior DoD experience (active duty, reserve, government civilian, or contractor)
