Sr GEOINT Operations Specialist
AGO Action Officer, Plans and Operations Branch. Completes staff actions as tasked in support of the Plans and Operations Team, Army GEOINT Office. Provides advice, recommendations, and support to Army organizations that perform geospatial-intelligence and analysis missions, plans, and operations. The Staff Officer will directly support the Department of the Army G2 (DA G2) and the Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) with recommendations for operations, plans and as an Army liaison for coordination with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) on specific Army interests. The Staff Officer will be an active member and/or participant in various high level councils and working groups that keep abreast and keep abreast of developments as tasked. The staff officer serves as a primary AGO administrative and operational contact for strategic communications between AGO, INSCOM, DA G-2, the Army and NGA.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Working knowledge of Army policies and regulations as well as established SOPs. Experience with tradecraft and publication and ability to coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groups, assimilate large volumes of information, and independently produce written reports.
BA/BS degree in a related field with at least 1 year of Intelligence Operations experience AND 1 year Staff Officer or equivalent experience.
Undergraduate degree with at least 3 years of Intelligence Operations experience AND 2 years Staff Officer or equivalent experience.
HS diploma/GED AND Specialized Training with at least 5 years of Intelligence Operations experience AND 2 years Staff Officer or equivalent experience.
