Job Description

Please note this supports our Weekend Day shift working Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6AM to 6PM. You will work 36 hours and be paid for 40 plus earn a 10% pay premium

Supervises, leads and coordinates with employees who perform material, package and Chemical handling processes within Logistics Receiving, Mail Service, Stockroom and Courier Transportation functions on Week-end shift. Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product by managing required training before touching product or moving material. Ensures procedures are current and documented and that resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met. Support all company policies and procedures and holds team accountable. Oversees Routing of packages according to Site Location/Mail stop via Material Move ticket System

Coordinates the verification, inspection, and movement of incoming/outgoing material to ensure timely delivery to designated areas/building to building.
Communicates and work with leadership team to build/expand the site courier, Incoming Receiving and Mail Service to align with site growth.
Coordinates Stockroom activity such as kitting, incoming receiving and cycle counting per defined requirement
Enforces company guidelines regarding the proper handling of classified and/or hazardous materials. Ensures proper material handling per item sensitivity codes

Enters information into Oracle ERP system and must be proficient in Microsoft office needed to maintain up-to-date stock records, retrieve stored data, or respond to inquiries about inventory levels or delivery schedules. Will submit reports to next level manager using data metrics to show team performance. Supervisor will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Logistics material handling understanding of practices, techniques and standards in a manufacturing environment.

Exposure to supervising or leading a team

familiarity of Hazmat Material movement

Experience with fleet and transportation operations

General understanding of incoming receiving

General understanding of US Mail services

Familiarity with ERP systems

Proficient in Microsoft office

Exposure to time card collecting

Problem solving and root cause techniques

Ability to work with cross functional teams on different work shifts

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Microsoft office
Cycle Count MMAS exposure
General knowledge of Oracle ERP
Time card experience
Leading successful teams
Problem solving exposure
Audit exposure (AS9100)
APICS Logistics
3+plus years experience in stockroom material handling or AA and above
