Special Security Officer
We are looking for a Special Security Officer to perform assigned duties in Seoul, South Korea. The successful candidate should possess knowledge and experience on DOD Personnel Security, Physical Security, and foreign disclosure regulations, policies and procedures. The candidate should be able to review, correct, and track requests for investigations, security clearances, and reporting requirements of unfavorable information. The candidate shall also be able to assist in performing preliminary reviews of investigations reports, and be familiar with JPAS. The candidate will possess the ability to assist in and developing, documenting, and recommending policies on sensitive security issues. Additional duties will include, drafting, reviewing and preparing National Agency checks, provide physical security and access control technical guidance.
The successful candidate will support the customer to coordinate and assist in operational activities and functions to include the executive office management, correspondence, video teleconferencing scheduling, Defense Travel System processes, records management, eZHR, military and civilian appraisal processes. The contractor shall be familiar with the processes and the activities of a combatant command.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Required Education: Bachelor Degree or four additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Excellent computer and organizational skills. Experience with JPAS and DOD Special Security Operations.
Preferred Skills and Education
Korean Language capability
