Software Integration Engineer III

The ideal candidate will have a strong systems administration background, with an understanding of network, storage and server architectures. They will also need to have basic scripting languages, so they are able to implement the enterprise monitoring capabilities. Able to develop and deploy system monitoring tools, like; Nagios, Ganglia, NetQoS, HP NMMi, etc. The candidate is required to have a BS in Computer Science and 6 years of experience. Must have strong Linux and Shell Scripting experience as well as experience troubleshooting multiple platforms (OS, storage, networking devices) Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 15 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Candidates shall have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least six years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment. Or the individual shall have five years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree and have at least six years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment. An industry recognized professional certification may substitute as one year experience. A Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two years’ experience.
