Software Engineer I

GXP is seeking a motivatedcandidate to join its software engineering team as a full time softwareengineer. In this exciting opportunity you’ll be responsible fordesigning, developing, and installing software solutions as part of a small butgrowing team.

General daily responsibilitiesinclude:

  • Implementing new features to our web-based and server-based products
  • Investigating new technologies and open-source software for inclusion into ourproducts
  • Developmentin Java or JavaScript
  • Design ofnew enhancements
  • Codereviews and unit testing

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education

  • Experience with Java and/or JavaScript
  • Ability to quickly learn and

integrate with emerging technologies

  • Good communication and

teamwork skills; a team player with a proactive attitude

  • Ability to identify, trouble

shoot and debug software discrepancies

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Experience with JavaScript,

C++, or SQL

  • Familiarity with Database

systems such as RDBMS, SOLR, Document Stores, or RPF Stores.

  • Familiarity with Cloud based

systems, such as AWS

  • Familiarity with integration

technologies, such as Apache Camel

  • Experience developing

web-based user interfaces and applications
