Our software configuration management team is responsible for software build/release support along with enforcing all Configuration Management principles on the program by administering automated configuration management tools and being knowledgeable of configuration management standards and how to apply them.
Assembles controlled software configuration items and creates and maintains controlled software baselines. Maintains an inventory and record of all software baselines sent to customers. May perform computer systems task assignments within Engineering including: software configuration management (SCM) tasks including performing software builds and tools systems administration for CM and Change management tools; PC database requirements analysis, design, development, and implementation; and other engineering development tool administration tasks. COTs and Open Source SW license tracking & verification. Tool administration tasks include script software requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance, and tool configuration and installation.

Required Skills and Education
Candidate must possess an active Secret Clearance
• Candidate will be expected to learn and apply specific Software Configuration Management tools and principles and also be able to function as part of a team.
Skills may include and are not limited to:
- Rational Clearcase/Clearquest
- Proficiency with MS Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic understanding of different Operating Systems (Windows, Solaris, Linux)
- Bachelor's Degree, will consider Associates with experience
- Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast moving, environment
- Candidate must have excellent organizational skills and be able to multi-task.
- Candidate will be evaluated based upon work accuracy, punctuality to assigned tasks and ability to work within a team environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Process Oriented
Preferred Skills and Education
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Systems, Management
Information Systems and Technology
Will consider Associates degree accompanied by direct SW CM experience.
Security Plus Certification.
