The Knowledge Manager is responsible for providing recommendations for the development of Knowledge Management systems and offer results by designing and implementing SharePoint process improvement solutions. so that the organization knows how information and experience is shared inside and (as appropriate) outside the organization. Identify requirements, standards, tools, methods, business processes and techniques to align multiple processes and systems in a particular area of intelligence information sharing. Produce Knowledge Management (KM) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in accordance with Army policies and regulations. Provide position papers containing analysis that provide assessments regarding the effectiveness of current organizational SOPs and processes. Support and/or lead the conduct of meetings, including meeting preparations, coordination, the preparation of meeting summaries and action tracking. Responsible for SharePoint content management with Microsoft Office applications and the transfer of content from shared drives and other repositories to SharePoint. Provide formats and recommendations in the management and use of SharePoint which facilitate knowledge sharing within the organization. Provide status updates including actual versus planned task progress made, schedule status, surveys/interviews conducted, meetings attended, issues, and recommendations. Maintain communications on knowledge sharing across the organization. Participate in orientation and training sessions, and preparation of presentations. These positions will be located in the United States which could include Fort Meade, Maryland and Fort Belvoir, VA.
