Site Director / General Manager- Chemical Manufacturing
Responsible for short- and long-term strategic planning and developing and implementing production and facilities policies and procedures, as well as driving growth within the Radford product line. Oversees management of all areas of manufacturing through delivery to produce products and directs activities so that approved products are manufactured on schedule and within quality & safety standards and cost. Manages the production environment including engineering, material planning, production control, material handling, assembly & manufacturing, maintenance & facilities, packaging, and shipping & logistics. Achieves optimum employee levels with least amount of overhead and raw material costs to meet or exceed annual budgetary plan. Oversees training programs for subordinate employees and ensuring that training objectives are met.
Must be able to leverage command of production and facility best practices along with sound understanding of general management practices in a dynamic environment, co-located with the customer.
Manages multiple diverse productions lines and teams. Manages all functional activies related to production and facilities.
Solves complex large scale manufacturing problems as well as leading team on new techniques and business processess for future success.
Regularly interfaces with internal senior leadership as well as the onsite customer and senior army leadership
Typical Education & Experience
Required Skills and Education
12+ years relevant experience in a leadership role
BS - Business Administration, Manufacturing, Chemical processing, operations management or relavent experience
Strong Interpersonal skills both written and verbal
Preferred Skills and Education
MA/MS Business Administration, Manufacturing, Chemical processing, operations management or relevant experience
