Senior Software Developer

Responsible for overall execution of the TO and daily management of task.

Ensure that performance is in accordance with PWS, SLAs, and Service Delivery Summary (SDS). Install, operate, and maintain the AFSOC EIS Portal on NIPRNET using MS Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 and/or later versions as released and identified by the Government.

Provide Tier 3 support for all applications developed and delivered. Provide technical assistance to AFSOC, evaluating information-sharing and knowledge management issues and strategies.

Formulate migration strategies for existing AF applications. Work closely with AFSOC customers to ensure understanding.

Provide Tier 2– and 3–level support and maintenance for any applications deployed. Perform Internet Information Service (IIS) application management.

Provide setup, maintenance, and management of the MS Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) application.

Execute and administer ongoing user adaptation and change management plans. Providing training and demonstration of capabilities as requested. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 15 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Experience working with SharePoint 2007/2010 content management systems, creating and managing Web applications, work flows, integration with custom applications, HyperText Markup Language (HTML) skills, and understanding of technical concepts and application logic.

Knowledge of SharePoint architectural design and Web Parts development, management, and troubleshooting. Experience with portals, content management systems, business process, and enterprise social computing platforms.

Ability to clarify and clearly translate client needs/requests into actionable tasks.

Writing, editing, and proofreading experience. Experience managing or coordinating projects involving multiple resources. Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Visio, Excel, Access, Project).

Preferred Skills and Education

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Web Site production and publishing environment, with an understanding of Web Production and Publishing Platforms.
