BAE Systems is seeking a passionate, self-starting individual to manage a large Cyber Network Defense program within our Intelligence Solutions business area, located at Fort Meade, MD

The Program manager is responsible for:
(a) Analyzing new and complex project-related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
(b) Perform day-to-day management of overall project/contract support operations, possibly involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations
(c) Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned project
(d) Assumes responsibility for project results
(e) Works with project sponsor and stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing
(f) Completes work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task
(g) Provides a project schedule to identify when each task will be completed
(h) Communicates clearly expectations to team members and stakeholders
(i) Mediates between stakeholders and team members
(j) Resolves issues and solves problems throughout project life-cycle
(k) Manages project scope by ensuring changes to scope are documented and approved
(l) Tracks and reports on project milestones and provides status reports when requested
(m) Leads, coaches, and motivates team members
(n) Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned projects
(o) Makes decisions and recommendations based on the business need for each project, and makes ongoing decisions based on what's best for the organization

Required Skills and Education
A Bachelor's Degree and 15 years work experience or equivalent experience with 3 years of experience in Earned Value Management (EVM)

8 or more years work experience, a TS/SCI clearance with Poly Experience leading large 7x24x365 SIGINT operations programs for the US Department of Defense SIGINT/EW/Cyber Domain expertise. Understanding of the DoD acquisition process, the FAR, Strong leadership skills leading cross-functional teams. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills; the ability to interact with and effectively present information to employees, leadership, and customers. High degree of personal drive and initiative.

Experience with MS Project
