Senior Process Engineer - 2nd shift

Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for a SR Process Engineer for their Hudson, NH facility. This would be working the 2nd shift rotation. In this role you will provide Process Engineering floor support, guidance and instruction to operators in support of manufacturing.

Performs manufacturing support activities using technical knowledge of generally used assembly practices ensuring the achievement of performance within cost and schedule requirements.

Support Preliminary Material Review/Material Review Board (PMR/MRB) for the disposition of discrepant material and determination of root cause/corrective action.

Perform quality audits of hardware, pFMEA's, monitor defects, and track trends. Support/Lead factory continuous improvement activities and projects.

Perform coaching, training, and qualification for operators. Ensure timely disposition of hardware and assure thorough root cause analysis of discrepant materials. Maintain assigned projects and tasks to ensure timely completion of required needs.

Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Proven teamwork and leadership skills; able to work across "boundaries" with multiple functions and program teams.

Typical Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Must have knowledge of requirements of AS9100C including FAI/PPV requirements.

Must exhibit initiative and be able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and demonstrate leadership necessary to support the manufacturing team.

Must be familiar with IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 class 3 requirements.
