Job Description

Senior Principle Manufacturing Engineer for airborne and Space precision optical instruments.

The candidate must have experience in a manufacturing environment where the primary products are complex precision optical instruments deployed in airborne and Space platforms. Within this environment the candidate has been recognized as a subject matter expert in developing processes to assemble, inspect, test and handle sensitive product, and developed assembly fixtures and training aids for aligning complex precision optical instruments.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Preferred Skills and Education

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with others who possess technical and non-technical backgrounds, as well as members from various levels within an organization. MS Office Proficiency including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project. While primarily a first shift position, must be able to occasionally respond to various forms of communication after normal work hours. BS or MS in a technical/engineering discipline. Project Management Institute PMP certification
