Senior Principal Sensor Design Engineer--CMOS

Job Description

Analog Design Engineer responsible for advanced analog and image sensor circuits. The successful candidate will be working with other experienced designers to design and verify the analog and mixed signal circuits for image sensor products, supervise layout work, and perform design reviews.

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Required Education & Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of related experience OR a Master's Degree and 10+ years or related experience
5+ years of experience in the design of complex analog circuits such as op amp, comparator, bandgap reference, ADC, DAC, LDO voltage regulator, and charge pump designs.
3+ years of experience in the design of complex high speed circuits such as PLL/DLL, RX/TX driver etc,
Experience in layout planning and supervision.
Experience in circuit simulation.
Experience in chip bring up and debug.
Familiar with Cadence design tools for design, layout, and verification, including Virtuoso, Spectre, and Ultrasim.
Preferred Skills and Education
Preferred Experience, Skills & Education:
Experience in CMOS image sensor design
Understanding of semiconductor pixel physics (noise, pinned photodiodes) and pixel array operation
Experience in column parallel architectures and switched capacitor circuits
Experience in high speed data interfaces
Experience in developing System Verilog and/or Verilog-A models
Experience in Verilog-AMS
