Senior Navigation and Controls - Systems Engineer

BAE Systems is seeking capable and experienced engineers to work on our diverse products and capabilities that are critical to the warfighter’s success and safety.

PGSS has been awarded new business including the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS™) rocket multi-service IDIQ contract, Family of Weapon Sights-Crew Served (FWS-CS) EMD contract, Enhanced Night Vision Goggle (ENVG) III production delivery order, and Family of Weapon Sights-Individual (FWS-I) LRIP contract.

Candidate will have five years of experience in two or more of the following technology areas: GPS, Guidance Navigation Controls (GNC) and Missile Seekers, Smart Weapons, Missile Systems and Guided Projectiles, Precision Targeting and Guidance Systems

Candidate will have ten years of design experience in the Systems Engineering Discipline with emphasis in best value and affordable systems solutions. Responsibilities will include system requirements development and performance analysis, integration and testing, system field demonstration/problem solving, all resulting in an affordable robust system design. The candidate will have a proven Systems Engineering background with experience in modeling and simulation. MATLAB and Simulink skills are required. DOORs, Magic Draw and MBSE experience required. Ability to communicate technical concepts and designs to both internal and external customers is required. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or applicable technical degree
