Senior Manufacturing Manager

Job Description

The Senior Manufacturing Manager will support the maturation and daily production activities of a newly installed factory, consisting of 20-25 personnel, that manufactures mixed technology microwave/RF assemblies. Key tasks consist of ensuring factory prioritization is known and executed, status is maintained and communicated to internal customers, staff is available, trained and certified to perform assigned tasks, tools are available and yielding as required, etc.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Past experience administering the daily operations of a small/mid sized factory
Knowledge of various manufacturing processes such as wire-bonding, epoxy application, automated component placement, hand soldering, hand assembly, test/tune, final acceptance/sell-off, etc.
Ability to occasionally work a flexible schedule or extended hours, including typical off days/weekends
Ability to execute basic computer applications in addition to command/comfort executing manufacturing execution systems (planning and production systems, nonconformance systems, etc).
