Senior Electrical Engineer - IR Technologies, PC Design, Build, Test and Produce
BAE Systems is hiring for an Electrical Engineer in it's Lexington, MA Business Center.

In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of electrical design to support Infrared Sensor systems used by various government and commercial agencies. The systems are deployed on various platforms including, man-portable thermal imagers, guided ordinance, UAV's, industrial machinery and automotive.
The work can include board level design, working with PC design group, system development, integration & test and transition of designs to production.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
BS/MS Electrical Engineering
- coursework background in high-speed digital and/or analog circuit board design
- strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated
Preferred Skills and Education
Experience in any of the following is a PLUS:
- Power Supply/Systems Design
- Cable Design
- Analog Circuit Design
- Digital Circuit Design
- FPGA understanding
- PSPICE or equivalent analog circuit simulation tool experience
- Board Design
- Cadence Allegro for schematic capture and PCB design
- Basic IR sensor understanding
- Proficient in circuit active and passive devices
- Ability to read schematics
- C, C++, Perl, Labview, TestStand are pluses
- Team player and resourceful in achieving goals
