SE&I Information Security Analyst

BAE Systems is building a team of Cyber Analysts to analyze, diagnose and resolve issues with security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate the Intelligence Community's (lC) email, data, applications, and web-based systems. Our team of analysts will research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security, and design countermeasures. Our team will also maintain security policies that control physical and virtual access system hardware, software, network firewalls and encryption protocols.
Supports SE&I Task Lead. Manages system security processes and controls as defined in DoD Directives, Manuals, and Instructions. Applies the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to Information Systems Security, which is further elaborated in additional Committee on National Security System Instructions (CNSSI) 1253, with the objective of obtaining an ATO. Collaborates with programmers and developers in preparation or updating of security-related documentation. Develops the Body of Evidence (BOE) to prescribe common controls as defined by the agency on whose network the system resides. Reviews and updates System Security Plans and privileged and general user's guides.
Work Locations for this opportunity are located primarily in Sterling VA and Joint Base Anacostia Bolling. However, other work locations are available in Reston VA, Charlottesville VA, Doral Florida and other CONUS and OCONUS. We're hiring multiple candidates for this position, ranging in skill levels from Junior to Subject Matter Expert.
Required Skills and Education
- Bachelors degree in computer related field.
- 0-3 years | 4-8 years | 9-12 years |13+ years of related experience.
- Active TS clearance.
- Understands the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DevSecOps methodology and able to successfully implement an information technology process that effectively protects information assets and ability to perform its mission.
- DoD 8570 compliant with CompTIA Security+ certification.
- IAT-III Certification.
- Experience supporting the missions of analysts in the Defense Intelligence Agency or Combatant Commands.
- Certified at Level III IAM or level IASAE I-III with CISSP, CISM or GSLC credential
