Ensure compliance with U.S. Government directives, regulations and requirements as well as corporate/business unit directives and customer directed requirements. Along with the FSO, manage all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Ensuring National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) compliance within the facility.

Preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and contractually obligated requirements to ensure the protection of classified and Company Protected Information.

Interprets policy, develops and implements security plans and procedures.

Maintain liaison with all levels of government and corporate entities, domestic and international, in the pursuit of security objectives.

Assist with International requirements to include: Government to Government shipments, Foreign Visitor requirements, and Export compliance.

Responsible for reviewing, writing and ensuring compliance of all collateral DD254's.

Provide and implement ideas and initiative to ensure a robust security education and awareness program.

Dotted line supervision of some security personnel.

Provides security guidance to company personnel.

Conducts investigations of non‐compliance issues and reviews security violations.

Assists with Security reviews to include: Defense Security Service visits, formal self‐inspections, and Staff Assistance Visits.

Ensures Closed area construction requirements are met, ultimately receiving Self Certification.

Conducts security briefings.

Participate with the local Crisis Management Team.
