Security Monitoring System Integrator

Our customer has a requirement to integrate, certify and accredit systems use for processing classified information at each of their district offices.

Each District office utilizes a centrally managed Physical Access Control System (PACS) based upon a local server. New directives require that each Personal Identity Validation (PIV) card credentials must be verified prior to allowing entry into government controlled space. Many offices are equipped with camera surveillance system utilizing antiquated analog systems. In order to utilize emerging technology built on digital camera systems, a major effort is beginning to eventually deploy these new technologies.

The scope of this work will include reviewing of the classified systems, physical security systems and initiatives for which our customer is responsible. Additionally, the work will involve reviewing and mitigating findings from the recent Office of Internal General (OIG) report; preparation of all required documentation and submission through the approval process for Certification and Accreditation (C&A) by the Designated Approval Authority (DAA) (ISSO detail).

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education o Physical computer security requirements analysis, designing, planning, testing, and implementation.

o Development of accreditation packets for system’s security and accreditation process.

o Conducting security reviews and system tests.

o Customer unique accreditation packet and database validations.

o ISSO-related security posturing analysis and evaluation.

o Tier 3-type support to federal managers on classified systems technical aspects.

o Ensured requirements compliance of physical security initiatives with IPCTV and PIV certificate.

o Preparation and submission of C&A documentation using customer unique compliance tool.

o Utilization of virtual office networks in replacement of physical Velocity servers within a cloud based environment.

o In-depth knowledge of security technologies including but not limited to:

o Video surveillance and related technologies.

o Access control and related technologies (biometrics, readers, panels, locks, etc)

Closed circuit IP-based camera video systems, access control, and intercom systems.

o LAN/WAN networks.

Preferred Skills and Education o Experienced with supporting/maintaining Hirsch Velocity systems.

Proven abilities to articulate and document requirements, design, implementation, and operations documentation under a change control process environment.

o Innovative, deadline-driven, independent, self-starting mindset.

o Knowledge and experience in USAccess Light Credentialing and Light Activation stations.
